Laura is an interdisciplinary creative and ardent traveler. Fascinated by relationships, histories, and new perspectives, she loves opportunity to connect seemingly different things or discover how they work together. Originally from Saint Petersburg, Florida, Laura left the Sunshine State to study at the Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in General Fine Arts, concentrated in fiber studies, and received a minor in Art History. She studied abroad in  Peru and Turkey, in addition to independent travel in Asia and Europe, and received multiple scholarships for academic and portfolio excellence.
