Laura is an interdisciplinary creative and ardent traveler. She loves opportunity to connect seemingly different things, or else discover how they work together in a larger whole. To Laura, the world is just a gigantic puzzle inviting us to complete a larger narrative.
"This is what coffee makes me do."
Originally from Saint Petersburg, Florida, Laura left the Sunshine State to study at the Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in General Fine Arts, concentrated in fiber studies, and received a minor in Art History. She studied abroad in Peru and Turkey, in addition to independent travel in Asia and Europe, and received multiple scholarships for academic and portfolio excellence. She's currently based out of New York City, freelancing and making decadent pastries. (Yes, she also bakes.)
